This place makes a great sticky bun! Soft and sweet. Our table also had a breakfast horseshoe. He though it was really good, but had it on a biscuit instead of bread. He would have liked the biscuit to have been warmed up. The other ingredients were tasty though! The coffee here is delicious! Will certainly go back.
While in town visiting family, I had a serious craving for some good fried fish—and Rudi’s did not disappoint! We ordered a little bit of everything: fried fish, fried mushrooms, mac and cheese, chicken alfredo, and fried green tomatoes. Everything was seasoned well and came out hot and fresh. The standout dishes for me were the catfish bites, creamy mac and cheese, and those perfectly crispy fried green tomatoes—so good! If you're in the area and looking for flavorful comfort food, Rudi’s is worth the stop.
I have to say this is the first time i have ate here. The food was great and the stuff was very helpful. Me and my co worker stopped here after work. I will be back. Very Busy also.
The place was packed with older folks at lunch. That's a great sign. Gracelyn was my server and did a great job. The breaded tenderloin was very good. I'm glad I saw the pie rack as I was leaving because I couldn't eat more but I'd have tried. They looked really good. Typical diner atmosphere with lots of seating.
First time at Rudi’s and really liked the food. The Tenderloin was huge and good. Came with fries and coleslaw. Coleslaw was great as well. My friend highly recommended the open face roast beef. Staff was awesome. If you are thinking about going then let me push you over the edge with about a dozen home made pies.
Very nice dinner. My first time eating there. Was in town visiting family. Food was good and good service.
While traveling on the road we were nearby this town and wanted to grab a lunch. After about three misses with other places that were either closed or no longer open we ended up here and let me say what a nice accident. Rudi’s Grill is not very assuming out the outside but it makes up for it when you walk inside. It feels like a mom and pop kind of eatery. I love the open space and the smells from the kitchen were old school comfort food. The servers were so sweet and they came over to our table immediately. They offered up drinks and they have diet Mountain Dew here and what a nice treat. I had the meatloaf and my companion had the chicken fried steak. Wow. Everything was delicious! I loved it all. Simple food but that extra comfort flavor was there.
